The Department for Aegean and Textile Archaeology are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for Sympozjum Egejskie: 10th Conference in Aegean Archaeology, which will take place in hybrid mode in Warsaw and online from 9th to 13th June 2025!
To celebrate our 10th anniversary, the conference will also include a special session on scripts and seals, to be chaired by Sarah Finlayson, and a special workshop on ‘Spaces and Landscapes of Production in the Aegean World and Beyond’, to be chaired by Sylviane Déderix and Stephanie Aulsebrook (follow this link for further information and the official call for papers).
As always, proposals for conference presentations are especially welcomed from early career researchers, such as PhD students or candidates, and scholars who have already completed their doctoral research and recently obtained their title. The conference fee for in-person attendees is 25 EUR.
Please download the application form for the main conference (below), then submit your abstract (in English; max. 250 words), along with your personal details (title, full name, affiliation, email address) and a personal biography (max. 100 words including ORCID number and/or research webpage links) to egea@uw.edu.pl by 15th February 2025.
For the workshop on ‘Spaces and Landscapes of Production in the Aegean World and Beyond’, please download the separate application form, then submit your abstract (in English; 300–500 words), along with your personal details (title, full name, affiliation, email address) and a personal biography (max. 100 words including ORCID number and/or research webpage links) to sylviane.dederix@gmail.com by 7th March 2025.
