Description: Experimental archaeology is one means that archaeologists use to test ideas and understand the technologies and logistics of past societies. This lecture presents one example of this methodology applied in highland Bolivia to understand the manner that the Tiwanaku (AD 500-1000) transported tremendous stones to construct their megalithic temples.
